For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.90 inches, will move into central
Quebec and slowly weaken tonight. High end gales with sporadic
gusts to storms are expected this afternoon and evening over the
northern two-thirds of Lake Huron. Gales persist into Saturday
morning before weakening the latter half of the day as weak high
pressure, 29.90 inches, briefly builds into the region.

.TONIGHT...Northwest at 35 knot gales decreasing to 20 to
25 knots. Gusts to 45 knot gales. A chance of showers in the
evening. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots late in the afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Waves
6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots early in the evening
becoming light and variable...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots
after midnight. A chance of showers in the evening...then showers
likely after midnight. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
in the late evening and overnight. Waves occasionally around
8 feet.
.SUNDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the northeast in
the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the
northwest early in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
