OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.5 inches centered over the Great
Lakes will drift to the Northeast by Monday morning. An extending
ridge of 30.3 inches will remain anchored over the Great Lakes
through early Tuesday. As the ridge moves away, a cold front will
move across the lake Tuesday night. High pressure of 30.2 inches
will then briefly build over the northern Lakes.

.SUNDAY...Southeast winds less than 10 kt becoming variable early
in the afternoon. Waves 1 ft or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming southeast. Waves
1 to 2 ft.
.MONDAY...South winds 5 to 10 kt becoming variable. Waves 1 ft or
less.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 kt becoming southeast. Waves
