National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
848 AM CDT Sat Mar 23 2024

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 30.4 inch high pressure center will move east toward the Hudson
Bay today, allowing light and northerly winds to continue into the
afternoon. A low pressure system will deepen to 28.9 inch over
the central Great Plains tonight into Sunday, resulting in breezy
southeasterly winds late tonight through Sunday night. Low
pressure approaches the Upper Mississippi Valley Monday, with
wind gusts up to gale force possible Monday afternoon into
Tuesday morning. Low pressure is then expected to lift into Lake
Superior on Tuesday, with a cold frontal passage across Lake
Michigan bringing westerly winds with gusts approaching gales once
again. A Gale Watch may be necessary during these time frames.
