Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over southern Quebec of 30.4 inches
will move east off the New England coast by Saturday morning while
a low pressure trough averaging 29.9 inches will reach the
central Plains to western Lake Superior. Expect the trough to
cross Lake Superior on Saturday and to reach the lower Great Lakes
on Sunday. In the wake of the trough, a high pressure ridge of
30.2 inches will follow over the Upper Great Lakes late Sunday
into Monday, weakening to 30.1 inches by Tuesday.
