Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A large low pressure system beginning to exit the
central Plains at 29.50 inches will weaken slightly while it
tracks east along a warm front draped across the southern Great
Lakes. The center of the low will reach southern Lake Michigan at
29.60 inches by Sunday morning while a strengthening high over
James Bay reaches 30.80 inches leading to a tight pressure
gradient across the region. The low will then exit east of the
eastern Lakes Monday night.

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
Showers likely...freezing rain and possible thunderstorms likely.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots late in the afternoon. Showers...
freezing rain and a chance of thunderstorms in the morning...then
showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4
feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots early in the evening
becoming light and variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots after
midnight. A chance of thunderstorms early in the evening. Rain
showers until early morning...then a chance of light showers early
in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in
the evening. Cloudy. A chance of light showers. A chance of light
snow showers late in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance
of light rain and snow showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance
of showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
