the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.70 inches, draws a cold front through
the Great Lakes today triggering showers across northern Lake
Huron with more isolated coverage of showers and thunderstorms
south of Saginaw Bay. High pressure returns mid-week ahead of a
strong low pressure system, 29.10 inches, that brings widespread
rain and elevated winds to the Great Lakes Thursday and Friday.

.TODAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in
the late morning and afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 5 to 10
knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming light
and variable early in the morning. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.WEDNESDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Sunny in the morning becoming
partly sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Light showers likely in
the evening...then showers after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots veering to the south in
the evening. Showers in the morning...then showers and a chance of
thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales. Mostly cloudy with light showers likely. Waves 2 to 4 feet. A
Gale Warning may be needed.
.SATURDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales.
Mostly clear. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
