Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure averaging 29.70 inches centered just
south of Lake Michigan will drift east to Lake Erie by this
evening. Meanwhile a strong high pressure system averaging 30.80
inches over James Bay will drift east into northern Quebec by
tonight allowing part of the shearing low to lift over the central
Great Lakes as a 29.50 inch low Monday. A weak ridge of high
pressure will then slide through the region Tuesday night.

.TODAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots increasing to 30 knots in the
afternoon. Freezing rain...showers and a chance of thunderstorms in
the morning...then showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots this evening becoming light and
variable...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots early in the morning.
Showers until early morning...then a chance of light showers early
in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Cloudy. A chance of light
showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots early in the morning. Cloudy. A chance of light showers until
early morning. A chance of light snow showers after midnight. Waves
1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
in the evening. Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy. A chance of
light snow showers early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of
showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy with a
chance of showers and snow showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
