...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL NIOBRARA AND EAST
CENTRAL CONVERSE COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM MDT...

At 627 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Manning Ranch, or 25 miles east of Douglas, moving
north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Manning Ranch and Lance Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
