...Periods of Heavy-Wet Snowfall Continue...

An area of precipitation moving across the area will continue to
bring periods of rain, wintry mixes, heavy- wet snow and possible
thundersnow as it slides east to east-southeast across the area
this morning. Many morning commutes are being affected, with slick
conditions and low visibility possible along the I-80 corridor.

The switch from rain to wintry mix and snow may be quick and
result in drastically reduced visibilities and quickly
deteriorating road and travel conditions as roads become snow
covered. Total accumulations of an inch or two may be possible.
This activity will end from west to east through the next few
hours.

Please use caution when traveling this morning and allow for extra
time to reach your destination.
