This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories remain in
effect today through this evening for portions of eastern Iowa
and northwest Illinois, mainly north of Interstate 80. A wintry
mix of freezing drizzle, freezing rain and snow will change to
snow by mid afternoon, which will continue into the evening.
Significant accumulations of snow and ice are expected. The
precipitation is expected to fall as mainly rain over northeast
Missouri, southeast Iowa and west central Illinois. More detailed
information can be found in the latest winter weather statements.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Snowmelt and recent rainfall may bring significant rises and
possible minor flooding along portions of the Iowa and Cedar
Rivers late this week and into the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight. Any
reports of ice accumulation or snow accumulations of one inch or
more today would be appreciated.
