This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated thunderstorms are possible today, especially for areas
along and south of U.S. Highway 34. A few storms could become
strong to severe this afternoon, with large hail and locally
strong wind gusts being the main threats. A Marginal Risk, or
level 1 of 5, remains for far southeastern Iowa, far northeastern
Missouri, and west- central Illinois.

Areas of frost are possible tonight, which could warrant
frost/freeze headlines.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A frost or freeze is possible Saturday night and Sunday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible this afternoon for areas south of
Interstate 80.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Northeast at 40 to 50 MPH.
