...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSON AND NORTHWESTERN HILL COUNTIES...

At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Covington, or
10 miles southeast of Cleburne, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Covington around 520 PM CDT.
  Itasca around 525 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Sand
Flat, Rio Vista, Parker, and Osceola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central and
north central Texas.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
