...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GREENVILLE...NORTHERN SPARTANBURG
AND NORTHEASTERN PICKENS COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 409 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles south of Columbus to 4 miles north of
Easley. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greenville Downtown, Spartanburg, Greenville Eastside, West
Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Taylors, Berea, Five Forks, and Welcome.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina.
