.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms along and east of highway 51 this
afternoon, will gradually diminish through sunset, lasting longest in
southeast IL into early evening. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will
occur over central and southeast IL Wednesday afternoon and evening,
diminishing during overnight Wednesday night. Scattered showers will occur
Thursday, mainly north of I-70. Good ventilation rates will prevail through
Thursday, with breezy winds out of the southwest today, south on Thursday and
north to northwest direction on Thursday.
