FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Westerly winds continue across Lake Michigan into tonight as high
pressure of 30.4 inches over the northern Great Plains builds
eastward and a weak cold front remains draped across southern
Ontario. Lighter winds expected late tonight into Sunday as high
pressure builds across the Lake. Light and variable winds will
then occur with the passage of the high Sunday night. Breezy south
winds will then develop Monday into Tuesday as low pressure of
29.5 inches approaches the northern Great Lakes from Saskatchewan
and Manitoba. Winds could approach gale force during this time.
Winds shift to northerly Tuesday night as the low passes
eastward.

.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 kt diminishing to 5 to
10 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 kt becoming south 15 to 25 kt
in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to gales to
35 kt overnight. Chance of showers in the evening, then showers
overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 7 to
10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt. Showers
likely in the morning, then showers in the afternoon. Waves 8 to
11 ft occasionally to 14 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft occasionally
to 12 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt becoming north. Chance
of rain showers. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.

overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 6 to
9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
