...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

This product, along with additional weather and stream information,
is available at https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=lsx.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning at 800 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.8 feet, Near this height, the left bank below the
  dam near the tailwater gage begins flooding.  Minor flooding of
  park grounds begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river first rose above flood stage on
    April 11.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 17.4 feet.
  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
