...Scattered Thunderstorms Possible Overnight...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms will continue to be possible
overnight. An isolated strong thunderstorm cannot be ruled out mainly
across the Lake Okeechobee region containing gusty winds and small
hail.

Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the
Collier County beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees will continue across most of the
area for the rest of this week and into the upcoming weekend. Peak
heat indices of 105 to 110 degrees will be possible during this time
frame especially over interior sections.

Thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon through the rest of
week, with the best chances for storms being Thursday afternoon and
possibly again during the weekend into early next week. Some of the
stronger storms could contain heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail,
and frequent lightning.
