NORTHEASTERN POPE...SOUTHEASTERN SALINE...GALLATIN...SOUTHWESTERN
VANDERBURGH...SOUTHERN POSEY...NORTHWESTERN HENDERSON AND CENTRAL
UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...

At 1145 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Mount Vernon to near
Shawneetown to 7 miles southeast of Carrier Mills. Movement was east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morganfield, Shawneetown, Breckinridge Center, Uniontown, Ridgway,
Waverly, Old Shawneetown, and Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for southern and
southeastern Illinois...southwestern Indiana...and northwestern
Kentucky.
