This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A powerful storm system will bring showers and scattered strong
storms Thursday into Thursday night. Some of these storms could be
severe, with primary threats of damaging straight line winds and an
isolated tornado, with the greatest risk during the afternoon through
mid evening. In addition, locally heavy rainfall could produce minor
flooding, especially in urban areas.

Finally, windy conditions are expected Thursday into Friday, with
gusts up to 30 to 35 mph possible.
