...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WAYNE COUNTY THROUGH 645
PM EDT...

At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Goldsboro, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Walnut Creek, Mar-Mac, Elroy, Brogden, and Cliffs Of The
Neuse State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
