Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
315 PM CDT Mon May 21 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms over portions of the region will
diminish this evening with the loss of heating, but the presence of an
upper level disturbance over the area Tuesday through Friday will help
to trigger additional isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
primarily during the afternoon and evening through the remainder of the
week. Although min RH`s Tuesday and Wednesday will range from 50-55%,
very light 20ft and transport winds will persist through much of this
week. Above normal temperatures will continue as well, as afternoon
temperatures climb into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Look for the
unsettled weather pattern to continue even into the upcoming weekend.
