...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR...

The areas affected include...
  Grand Portage MN...

At 1251 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent cloud to
water lightning. This strong thunderstorm was located near Pigeon
Point, or 13 nm northeast of Horseshoe Bay and Safe Harbor, moving
northeast at 20 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Pigeon Point around 105 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the strong thunderstorm include Hollow
Rock Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 33 knots...locally higher
waves...and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
