.DISCUSSION...

A cold front passing east through the area this afternoon and
evening will continue to lead to the chances for showers and
thunderstorms, mainly across northeast South Dakota and west central
Minnesota. Increasing west to northwest winds on the backside of
this system will remain persistent the the late evening and early
overnight hours tonight. Gusts could range from 24-40mph. High
pressure builds in overnight and remain in control through Wednesday
afternoon leading to dry conditions and lighter winds. Lowest
relative humidity values will be found across north central South
Dakota Wednesday afternoon where they could range between 25 to 30
percent. Rain chances will once again be on the increase by
Wednesday night through Thursday night.
