.DISCUSSION...
Another hot day is in store across South Texas with air
temperatures climbing into the 90s to near 110 degrees out west.
Dangerous heat is expected this afternoon across inland Nueces,
inland Kleberg and Jim Wells counties with heat indices climbing
to around 110. A cold front is expected to move across the region
Friday bringing a wind shift to the northeast early Friday.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms remain very low < 15%
Friday. Cooler temperatures are in store on Saturday. However,
another warming trend kicks in on Sunday. Friday`s cold front will
move back north as a warm front through the weekend. As a result,
we will see an increase in moisture across the region. Rain
chances will increase into the 30-50% range through the weekend
and into early next week.
