Advisories for Lake and Cook counties are also in effect for tonight as freezing rain leads to ice accumulations of up to around a tenth of an inch across the higher terrain. Higher terrain along the North Shore and south into the Twin Ports may also see a light glaze of ice accumulations this evening into tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Winter weather Advisory remains in effect through the morning hours on Monday for Cook and Lake counties. The Wind Advisory also runs through the afternoon hours. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
