Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The Central High Plains region observed breezy winds and partly to
mostly cloudy skies across the area. At 2pm MDT (3pm CDT)
temperatures ranged from 56 degrees in St. Francis, Kansas to 71
degrees in Flagler, Colorado.


OUTLOOK... Breezy winds will continue through the overnight hours
as moisture continues to stream into to the area from the southeast.
To start the work week severe weather looks to be possible along and
east of a Red Willow to Logan county line with all hazards possible;
western portions will see the potential for fire weather conditions.
Highs Monday are forecast in the mid 60s to mid 70s. Breezy
conditions continue Tuesday with westerly winds and highs in the 60s
to 70s. A drier and cooler airmass looks to take hold across the
region Wednesday and into the weekend with highs in the 60s and lows
in the 30s.
