Through the morning hours, a deep upper level trough moved across
the far northern Mississippi Valley and the western Great Lakes.
Clouds increased as the trough moved towards northern Wisconsin
with light snow showers moving into Manitowish Waters around 10
am. Otherwise, winds increased across the region and many gusts
reached the 25 to 35 mph range. Temperatures at 10 am ranged from
31 degrees at Manitowish Waters to 44 degrees at Waupaca.

Clouds will continue to increase into the afternoon with the
snow showers spreading across areas mainly north and west of the
Fox Valley. A few of the snow showers may be heavy at times with
low visibilities during the afternoon and evening in north-
central Wisconsin. High temperatures will be about 10 to 15
degrees cooler today than Thursday with values mainly in the 40s.
