Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
High pressure will remain far north of the area through the
forecast period. There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm over
the far western waters tonight as a weather disturbance continues
to move W. The remnants of an old front will bring a boost in
trade showers over the northern waters between tonight and
Thursday.

Remnants of an old front continues to move S toward the main
Hawaiian Islands.
.WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...E winds 10 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9
ft. Remnants of an old front will settle and dissipate over the
main Hawaiian Islands Wednesday through Thursday.
