.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure will continue to shift east through tonight as a
Gulf Low approaches the forecast area. Rain chances increase
Friday morning, with periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms
through Saturday afternoon as the low crosses the local waters.
Winds increase Friday to Small Craft Advisory levels, with a lull
in Advisory conditions Saturday before a stronger wind surge
develops Saturday night behind the departing low when Small Craft
Advisory conditions return. Occasional gusts to gale force are
possible Friday night and again Saturday night into Sunday. High
pressure builds north then northeast of the of the waters Sunday
through Tuesday.

chop. A chance of showers with isolated thunderstorms after
midnight.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet with a
dominant period 5 seconds, building to 4 to 6 feet with a
dominant period 5 seconds in the afternoon. Intracoastal waters
choppy. Showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to
15 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 feet with a dominant period
8 seconds. Intracoastal waters choppy. Showers with isolated
thunderstorms in the evening, then numerous showers and scattered
thunderstorms after midnight.
