...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ST. JOHNS...
NORTHEASTERN CLAY AND SOUTHEASTERN DUVAL COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 PM
EDT...

At 1222 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Green Cove Springs, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Green Cove Springs, Fruit Cove, Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville
Beach, World Golf Village, Sawgrass, Nocatee, Durbin, Picolata, and
Switzerland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EDT for northeastern
Florida.
