For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch high will build southeast across the
eastern Great Lakes region today. Meanwhile, a large storm system
will move from the northern Plains to the upper Mississippi
Valley tonight, before shifting east into the Great Lakes
Wednesday. The weakening storm system will pass to the northwest
of the lake Wednesday night and Thursday sending a cold front
across the lake Wednesday night. The next storm system will then
slowly cross northern Ontario and northern Quebec Friday and
Saturday sending a secondary cold front across the Lake Friday
night, while expansive high pressure moves from the Canadian
Rockies to the central Plains.

.THIS AFTERNOON...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming
southwest. Waves 1 foot or less.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds less than 10 knots becoming east and
increasing to 15 to 25 knots after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less
building to 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds to 30 knots. Showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet
building to 6 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally around 13 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots becoming southeast and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. Showers. Waves 6 to 9 feet
subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast. Showers
during the day, then a chance of showers Thursday night. Waves
2 to 4 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. Showers
likely. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 10 to
15 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet.

showers in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southeast.
Showers. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Showers during the
day, then a chance of showers Thursday night. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Showers likely. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of rain showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to
3 to 5 feet, then subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
