Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 04Z, or 9 PM PDT, a 1029 MB high was
centered 1100 NM west of Point Conception, and a 992 MB low was
centered in Colorado. N-NW winds and seas will increase tonight,
reaching gale force overnight tonight/Friday. This will create
widespread dangerous boating conditions, especially at the islands
and the near shore waters south of Point Conception.
