.DISCUSSION...
Cooler conditions develop today following a weak cold front arriving
later this morning. This front will bring low chances for mostly
afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the eastern Rolling Plains.
Afternoon RH values will range from as low as 10 percent in the far
southwest South Plains to between 30 and 50 percent elsewhere. Even
where RHs are lowest, winds and ERCs will be unfavorable for fire
spread.
