.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

There remains a high risk of rip currents at area beaches today.
The high risk may extend through Saturday for all but Franklin
County. Breezy to gusty northwesterly breezes are anticipated today
before calming and gradually turning more out of the north Saturday as
high pressure moves over the region. By Sunday, we`ll finally drop to
a moderate risk of rip currents. Southeasterly winds develop late
Sunday afternoon and will continue into early next week.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Double Red
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Double Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Double Red
