...NWS Damage Survey for April 16,2024 Tornado Event in Northern
Osage and far southeastern Shawnee Counties...

A tornado touched down 4 miles west southwest of Overbrook, KS
around 6:07 this morning and moved north northeast approximately
10 miles hitting the town of Richmond in far southeast Shawnee
county. The tornado was on the ground for 20 minutes and damaged
several structures. Two individuals were injured by the tornado
when the RV they were in was flipped over and destroyed.
