Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
300 PM MDT Sun May 20 2018

.Discussion...

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible
through Tuesday with the greatest coverage across the mountains.
These will produce some spotty light rainfall amounts. Drier
weather will spread in for Wednesday and Thursday with some
localized near critical fire weather conditions possible across
portions of southern Colorado. Temperatures will warm back
into the 90s across the plains with 60s and 70s for the high country.

Another uptick in thunderstorm chances will be possible for
Friday into next weekend with the arrival of another cool front.

Smoke dispersion rates will drop into the poor category for all
areas tonight, shortly after sunset. Dispersions will rebound
into the very good to excellent category by Monday afternoon.
A similar diurnal trend can be expected for Tuesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
