...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SATURDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
  9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Carter, Custer, Fallon, and Northern Rosebud.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Saturday to midnight MDT Sunday Night.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Travel will be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  will significantly reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. For the latest road
conditions, call 5 1 1.

Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden
changes in visibility. Make sure your car is winterized and in good
working order.

  8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southeast Montana.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/2 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.
