Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
506 AM EDT Fri May 10 2024

A slow-moving low pressure system south of Pennsylvania will bring
rainy, cool weather to most of the state today. High temperatures
will range from the upper 40s over the higher terrain of Northern
Pennsylvania, to near 60 along the Ohio border. The low will pass
off the coast tonight and a ridge of high pressure will build in
from the west, bringing an end to the rain. Expect partial
clearing with areas of fog tonight and low temperatures between
40 and 45 degrees.

Another area of low pressure diving southeast across the Great
Lakes will spread showers across the region Saturday afternoon
into Sunday morning. Highs Saturday will range from the upper 50s
to lows 60s. Brightening skies are expected late Sunday,
especially over Western Pennsylvania, as the low exits the state.
However, it will remain cool for May.
