Skies remained clear and sunny through the early afternoon,
allowing temperatures to rise steadily into the upper 50s and
lower 60s.

Cloud cover will be on the increase later today, bringing in
partly cloudy skies for the overnight period. Low temperatures
tonight are expected to range from the upper 20s along the Upper
Peninsula border to the middle 30s near the Fox Valley.

Next chances for rain and thunderstorms arrive to the forecast
area later Friday afternoon as a low pressure system makes its
way into the upper Mississippi Valley. Mostly rain is expected
for Friday, with confidence increasing in potential for severe
weather on Saturday. Chances for showers and storms will linger
through early next week.
