...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...
Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...

At 418 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near High Island
208, moving northeast at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Galveston 150, High Island 157, Heald Bank, High Island A23, High
Island A179, Buoy 42035, High Island A61, Galveston 256, High Island
208, and Galveston 221.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
