.DISCUSSION...Skies will be sunny today with increasing clouds by
this afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s and lower 70s with
minimum relative humidity ranging from around 30 percent in far
western South Dakota to around 45 percent towards central South
Dakota. Southerly winds will be quite breezy across the western
South Dakota plains by the afternoon, with gusts to 45 mph.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Monday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
