.NOW...
Through 4 pm, an outflow boundary continues to extend from the the
Dry Tortugas south to northern Cuba, moving west to southwest at near
10 knots. This boundary continues to cause waxing and waning
isolated showers and thunderstorms, including the Dry Tortugas.
Mariners encountering the stronger portions of this activity can
expect pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall reducing visibilities to
lower than 1 mile, wind gusts up to near 30 knots, and frequent
lightning strikes. For the Lower Keys, a couple isolated showers may
produce a few additional hundreths of an inch of rainfall. The more
vigorous activity will continue to be covered with Special Marine
Warnings.
