...The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Montana...
Lodge Creek near International Border affecting Northeast Hill
County and Northwest Blaine County.
.Warm temperatures melting any remaining snowpack and drifts will
increase flows on areas creeks with minor ice jam flooding possible
as lingering ice works downstream.
For the Lodge Creek...including International Border...elevated
river levels are forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO TOMORROW EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt and ice jamming is expected.
* WHERE...Lodge Creek near International Border.
* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...Historically, areal flooding has occurred on Lodge Creek
with stage readings near 10 feet.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:25 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 7.8 feet.
- Minor flooding is possible when the river stage rises above
7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:25 AM MDT Sunday was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...Lodge Creek is expected to rise to around 9 feet
tonight near the International Border, then gradually fall on
Monday. Local ice jams are possible at points downstream,
which may temporarily backup water, causing minor flooding of
areas adjacent to the creek.
- Action stage is 6.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
