600 PM EDT FOR CENTRAL CATAWBA...DAVIE...ALEXANDER...IREDELL...
SOUTHEASTERN CALDWELL...NORTHWESTERN ROWAN AND SOUTHEASTERN BURKE
COUNTIES...

As of 518 PM EDT, most of the rainfall has ended over the advisory
area, however automated stream gauges continue to indicate elevated
stream levels.

Some locations that will likely continue to experience minor flooding
include...Hickory, Salisbury, Statesville, Lenoir, Newton, Mocksville,
Taylorsville, St. Stephens, Conover and Longview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
