Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
408 PM EDT Mon May 6 2024

.DISCUSSION... Weak high pressure moves across southern New
England Tuesday, followed by a weak low pressure Wednesday.
Increasing risk for showers and isolated thunderstorms Wednesday.
Much warmer Tuesday before turning cooler Wednesday. Minimum
relative humidity values are generally expected to be
30-40 percent Tuesday across the interior with higher values
towards the coast. Minimum relative humidity values generally
65-80 percent for Wednesday.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Saturday...

A frontal boundary stalled nearby to our south through the end of
this week. A couple of low pressures traversing this front likely
brings a couple periods of showers Thursday into Friday. Weak
high pressure expected to be in place heading into this weekend.
