.DISCUSSION...
South winds persist this evening with speeds around 10 mph, a few
gusts to 15-20 mph are possible before sunset. Relative humidity
values will recover to around 35 percent by sunset (approximately
2000 CDT) and rising to around 45-50 percent through the night.
Smoke dispersal will decrease to poor in the overnight hours.
Clouds increase late tonight into Friday morning, which combined
with more moist air moving in will cause relative humidity values
to rise through the day. Winds will increase in intensity out of
the southeast at 10-15 mph with gusts as strong as 25-30 mph on
Friday afternoon. Rain arrives towards Friday evening - Less than
a 20 percent chance of rain before 4 PM (1600 CDT) on Friday,
quickly rising to a near 100% chance in the 7 PM to 1 AM timeframe
Friday evening. Rainfall amounts Friday/Friday night will amount
to a quarter to a half inch.
