SOUTHEASTERN ARLINGTON COUNTIES AND THE NORTHEASTERN CITY OF
ALEXANDRIA...

At 805 AM EDT, strong showers and perhaps a thunderstorm was located
over Camp Springs, or over Andrews Air Force Base, moving east at 35
mph.

Gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locally heavy rainfall can be expected.

Locations impacted include...
Arlington, Alexandria, Bowie, Annapolis, Clinton, Fort Washington,
Forestville, Largo, Coral Hills, Mayo, Shady Side, Deale, Naval
Academy, National Harbor, Upper Marlboro, Severn River, South River,
Nationals Park, Fedex Field and Rhode River.

Locally heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may
cause ponding of water on roadways and cause small streams to go out
of their banks. Be alert for the potential of standing water and
hydroplaning.
