Upper level low pressure drifted north into northern South Dakota
overnight. Strong westerly winds south of this feature persisted
into the overnight. This led to mild lows in the mid to upper 40s
across the area.

Windy conditions will continue today across the area as west winds
gust to 40 to 50 MPH. There will also be a slight chance for an
isolated showers this afternoon over northern Nebraska. Highs
today will range from around 60 degrees in the Pine Ridge to
around 70 in southwestern Nebraska.

Winds should begin to diminish somewhat across the area tonight
but remain from the west. Overnight lows will be
in the middle 30s in the eastern panhandle and western Sandhills
to the upper 30s elsewhere.
