Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
205 PM CDT Sat May 11 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Northerly winds are in place following behind a cold front that
passed. As a surface high passes to the north settles into the area,
winds will shift from northerly to the southeast. The new week
will see a low pressure system bring higher rain chances, humidity,
and persistent southeast winds.
