.DISCUSSION...

A low pressure center anchored to our west will keep unsettled
weather in the forecast through the period. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms will develop on terrain. Precipitation chances
increase Friday, with a greater chance for wetting rains from
afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Marginal winds and higher
relative humidity will keep critical fire weather conditions out
of reach.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (70-80 percent). Slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
CWR.................10 percent.
Max temperature.....60-63.
Min humidity........20-25 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Northwest winds 5-10 mph shifting to the east in
                    the afternoon at 10-15 mph. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Fair.
Haines Index........3 or very low.
LAL.................1 until 1200, then 2.
Mixing height.......5200 ft AGL increasing to 7200 ft AGL in the
                    afternoon.
